BAM is an everyday occurrence! This is not your average compliance course-in fact it is not a compliance course at all. While program compliance is important, we also need to manage our properties. This Basic Apartment Management course will examine the day to day business of managing your property to make it a success. Topics to be covered include: Outreach and Marketing; Establishing relationships with your Residents; Establishing Suitability and Eligibility; Certifications; Issues during Tenancy; and Move Outs.

Remember to bring your pen and paper to this class.

About the Speaker: Kurt Aldinger has worked in the affordable housing industry since 1994, and currently oversees Public Housing and Section 8 New Construction programs for the City of Flagstaff Housing Authority. He also serves as Vice President of Training for AHMA-PSW and has been on the training committee for AZ NAHRO for many years. Kurt has trained on HUD compliance at the site level for AHMA, NAHRO, and private management companies. He has earned several professional designations including: CPO, FHC, COS, RAM, and SEHM.
