Each trainee will receive a certificate of training and OSHA card.

The OSHA 10-Hour General Industry course is a “must have” for maintenance and construction staff. However, it is also a good idea for administrative and owners/agents to get certified, as well.

This course will cover the following topics and will specifically point out HIOSH standards as they compare with the federal guidelines:

– Introduction to OSHA
– Walking and Working Surfaces, including fall protection
– Exit Routes and Emergency Action Plans
– Fire Prevention Plans and Fire Protection
– Electrical
– Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
– Hazard Communication
– Safety & Health Programs

About the Presenter: Dennis Fisher is an Authorized OSHA Outreach Instructor for 10-hour and 30-hour trainer in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry and Construction Industry from The University of Utah, Mountain West OSHA Training Center. Dennis specializes in 10 and 30-hour Outreach Training as well as safety specific subjects. His training classes are innovative, intuitive, interactive and informative. He has over 22 years’ military ground, flight, weapons, vehicle and general safety experience. Additionally, he has civilian work and safety experience in the computer, warehousing, food safety, transportation, and home and commercial construction industries.
